Let Kids Play ft Helen McAllister

Helen McAllister have more than 25 years of marketing and advertising experience marketing products and services at well-known advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofits including GSD&M, The Richards Group, Dell, World Vision and Compassion International. She currently owns and operates her own marketing agency – HELM Creative Marketing – to support small businesses and non-profits to develop successful and affordable marketing programs. Their clients are primarily from Colorado Springs with one international non-profit. Helen has been married to her husband Mark for 23 years, and they have two adult children – Faith (21) and Luke (19). Faith was a swimmer at BIOLA university in CA and will graduate this December. Luke is a quarterback at CSU and just started this past January. Helen is originally from Texas and is a UT Austin graduate.

She started LetCOPlay in September 2020 in an effort to get high school football reinstated for the fall season after the Governor and CHSSA moved the season to the Spring. It would be her son’s senior season and the last opportunity for many senior players to get noticed by college coaches to earn a scholarship. Because her son, and others who had already accepted scholarships, were committed to starting college in January it would have meant choosing not to graduate early to play his senior year of football or not getting a senior season.
